ISLAMABAD: In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, two hundred and seventy-eight candidates have filed their nomination papers for reserved seats, so far.
According to a spokesman of Provincial Election Commission, fifty-two candidates have filed their nomination papers for contesting election on nine seats reserved for women in the national assembly.
Similarly, one hundred and sixty-nine candidates have submitted nomination papers for twenty-two seats reserved for women in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
Fifty-five candidates have submitted their nomination papers for three minority seats in the provincial assembly.
