RIYADH – Saudi Arabia’s King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salmanhave expressed and sent their condolences to Pakistan’s President MamnoonHussain after an ISIS-claimed suicide blast targeting a political rallysouthwest of the country on Friday killed 128 people.

Saudi Arabia said it strongly condemned and disapproved the suicide attackthat hit the town of Mastunglink>,near the Balochistan provincial capital Quetta, an official source at theSaudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

“The source offered condolences and consolation to the victims’ families,the government as well as the people of the fraternal nation of Pakistan,wishing the injured speedy recovery and concluding by reiterating theKingdom stance and solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Pakistan againstterrorism and extremism, in general,” a statement on the Saudi Press Agency(SPA) quoted the source as saying.
