ANKARA – Turkey’s deal with Pakistan to sell 30 Turkish T129 attackhelicopters is worth around $1.5 billion, sources with knowledge of thematter told Reuters on Friday.

The helicopters will be delivered gradually over five years, the sourcesalso said. The deal is the biggest export deal of Turkey’s defenseindustry, the country’s defense industry directorate said earlier.

Earlier Pakistan had signed deal with Russia for Mi 35 attack helicopters.
