Hussain Nawaz s son Zakriya also arrested in London

LONDON – London police on Thursday has arrested son of Hussain Nawaz,Zakriya in London over quarrel with the protesters.

Police also apprehended link>link>Junaid Safdarlink> , grandson of formerprime minister and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) supremo NawazSharif and Maryam Nawaz’s son for thrashing a demonstration, protestingagainst Sharif family.

As per the details, the clash took place outside the Avenfield flats whereNawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz were staying with their family.

The clash erupted as the demonstrators were protesting against the Shariffamily and Maryam Nawaz’s sonlink>link>Junaid Safdarlink> hit a protester.

Police also detained Junaid Safdar’s friend.

Earlier on Thursday, enraged mob had continued protest against former PrimeMinister Nawaz Sharif outside Avenfiled flats in London.

The protesters chanted slogans against ex-PM, calling him as thief and alsoblocked the main road.

It is to be mentioned here that Nawaz Sharif and his daughter Maryam Nawazare all set to leave for Pakistan from London to face the imprisonmentbeing given by accountability court in Avenfield reference.

The local government in Lahore had also beefed up the security and placedcontainers in different areas to bar the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz(PML-N) supporters from welcoming Nawaz Sharif.

According to security plan, many as 22 officials of the NationalAccountability Bureau (NAB) and 100 Elite Commandos will be deputed at theAllama Iqbal International Airport.

The arrangements for the shifting of the convicts, who are coming fromLondon after inquiring health of Begum Kulsoom Nawaz, to Adiala jailthrough helicopter have been completed while a letter has also beendispatched to accountability court judge Muhammad Bashir to reach Adialajail on July 13.

On Friday, former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and CaptainSafdar were convicted and sentenced to prison in absentia for ten years,seven years and one year respectively, in a verdict that is likely tofurther disrupt an already chaotic campaign for national elections thismonth.

The sentence and a fine of 8 million pounds, or $10.6 million, came almosta year after Supreme Court removed Sharif from office and less than fivemonths after the court barred him from holding office for life.
