PESHAWAR – Funeral prayers were held for the martyred Haroon Bilour, son ofBashir Bilour, at Wazir Bagh on Wednesday.
ANP leader Haroon Bilour was among 20 people martyred in a suicide attackwhich took place in Peshawar on Tuesday night in the Yaka Toot area momentsafter Bilaour arrived there to address a corner meeting.
As many as 62 people were injured in the suicide attack and are beingtreated at Lady Reading Hospital.
Haroon Bilour was contesting the July 25 elections from Peshawar’s PK-78constituency.
Bashir Ahmed Bilour, a senior ANP leader, was also martyred in a suicideattack on December 12, 2012 after a party meeting.
A case over the incident has been registered at Agha Mir Jani Shah policestation on the complaint of SHO Wajid Ali.
