RAWALPINDI – The City police on Tuesday arrested five workers of thePakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) from Gawalmandi area for resisting tothe arrest of Capt (retd) Safdar.
Meanwhile, the police raided an election office in Dheri area and arrestedeight workers.
In Sargodha, the police registered a case against five local leaders of thePML-N for forcibly holding a public meeting in Eidgah.
The case has been registered against former MPA Abdur Razzaq, deputy mayorBilal Khanm Market Committee chairman Zahid Kamboh and others.
The leaders said that they will hold the meeting at Eidgah at all costs.
