ISLAMABAD – Caretaker Prime Minister Justice retired Nasir-ul-Mulk hasreassured Pakistan’s support for an Afghan-owned and Afghan-led peaceprocess as there is no military solution to the conflict in Afghanistan.
He was talking to Afghan Ambassador Dr Hazrat Omer Zakhilwal, who paid acourtesy call on him in Islamabad today (Tuesday).
Expressing satisfaction on the positive trajectory in the bilateralrelations, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of building on theprogress achieved, especially in the context of implementation of theAfghanistan-Pakistan Action Plan for Peace and Solidarity (APAPPS).
Ambassador Zakhilwal said bilateral channel remains the most viable modeand APAPPS would facilitate achieving progress in all areas of engagement.
