*BANNU: At least seven people including Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal (MMA)candidate were injured when his convoy came under bomb attack in Bannu, ARYNews reported.*

The blast took place in Takhti Khel area in Bannu district of KhyberPakhtunkhwa. Seven people including the election candidate were injured ina remote controlled blast.

Malik Shireen, who is the contesting for PK-89 constituency, was on his wayto political gathering with his supporters when a blast hit his convoy.

According to police, the explosive device was attached to a motorcyclewhich detonated near his convoy. The injured have been shifted to DistrictHospital Bannu.
