ISLAMABAD – The caretaker Punjab government has decided to shift formerprime minister Nawaz Sharif to Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences(PIMS) after his health deteriorated on Sunday.
As per reports, Nawaz is reportedly experiencing blood clotting in botharms, causing doctors to recommend he be shifted to the cardiac care unitat PIMS.
Preparations are completed to shift the former prime minister to thehospital. The area has also been cleaned. He will be admitted to PIMS’executive ward. The room he is being shifted to has all the facilities herequires, Farah Rabbani.
Nawaz’s cardiologists will also be nearby. The operations SSP has visitedthe hospital and a bomb disposal squad has swept the area.
