Usman Dar was contesting against PML-N heavyweight and former ForeignMinister of Pakistan, Khawaja Asif. Dar after giving a very toughcompetition in NA-73 lost this seat. He got 115,464 votes while Asif bagged116,957 votes. Interestingly, a number of votes were rejected in this areawhich proved destructive for Dar.

Nisar Jutt was leading from NA-106 and was close to beat PML-N’s bigwig andformer Law Minister of Punjab Rana Sanaullah. Jutt got 103,799 votes whileRana could bag 106,319 votes. This undoubtedly could have been a majornightmare for PML-N keeping in view the fact that PTI already snatchedmultiple seats in the district.

The above mentioned constituencies are those which if won by PTI could havefurther worsened the defeat of PML-N. PTI has requested recounting in NA-73and NA-129.
