BEIJING – China has highly appreciated PTI Chairman Imran Khan’s remarks onChina-Pakistan relations saying it shows that China-Pakistan all-weatherstrategic partnership will not shake no matter how the domestic situationchanges in the two countries.

At regular briefing in Beijing, a Chinese foreign ministry spokespersonnoted that Imran Khan said many times before that relations with China arethe cornerstone of Pakistan’s foreign policy.

He said Imran Khan also mentioned in his post-election speech that he iswilling to learn from China’s development experience, firmly supports theconstruction of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor, and believes thatthis is of great significance to the development of Pakistan.

The spokesperson said his country paid close attention to the ongoinggeneral election in Pakistan and sincerely hopes that Pakistan wouldsuccessfully complete the political transition, maintain stability andachieve better development.
