ISLAMABAD – PM-in-waiting Imran Khan has responded over the death of theformer Indian PM Atal Bihari Vajpaee.
He has offered his condolences over the demise of former Indian PM AtalBihari Vajpayee.
“We stand with India in this difficult time,” Imran Khan said in astatement.
Vajpayee, the three-time Indian PM, passed away in New Delhi on Thursday.
Vajpayee’s efforts for peace between Pakistan and India will always beremembered, Khan said.
“There is a void in the politics of South Asia after his death. There canbe political differences but the desire of peace remains present across theborder,” the PTI chairman said.
