SWABI – Anwar Ulhaq, a prime suspect in assassination attempt on formermilitary dictator General (r) Pervaiz Musharraf was killed during a gunbattle with Anti-Terrorism Department personnel in Swabi District of KhyberPakhtunkhwa.
The accused was reportedly involved in Lahore bomb attacks andAssassination bid of Pervaiz Musharraf.
According to media reports an ASI of CTD was also injured during theattack. The injured has been shifted to nearby hospital for medicaltreatment.
The operation was carried out on intelligence reports.
The suspected terrorist was also involved in other terrorist attacks besidethe above mentioned.
