SRINAGAR – In occupied Kashmir, strict curfew-like restrictions have beenimposed across the territory especially in Srinagar in the name of securityahead of India’s Independence Day.

Special restrictions are in place in and around Cricket Stadium in Srinagarwhere the main function would be held.

Police and paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force have intensifiedpatrolling, vehicle checking and frisking at various flashpoints inSrinagar and other parts of the Valley.
