RAWALPINDI – Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa has started a treeplantation campaign in Pakistan.

Pakistan Army joined hands with the National Tree Plantation Campaign andwill simultaneously plant two million trees across the country.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Director General Major General AsifGhafoor took to Twitter and said, “Pakistan Army joins National TreePlantation Campaign. COAS will initiate simultaneous plantation of twomillion trees today across the country under army arrangements with aplanned target of 10 million trees during this monsoon.”

“Campaign is named ‘Sarsabz o Shadab Pakistan,” he added.
