ISLAMABAD – Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunications is inprocess of developing an Intelligent Mobile Robots (IMR) to be used fordisaster mitigation and firefighting.
The mobile robots will be equipped with all modern sensing andcommunication devices with on-board computational capabilities.
The intelligent mobile robots can be effectively utilized in lifethreatening missions as well as in harsh weathers for surveillanceinvestigation, tracking, rescue operation and map generation.
