ISLAMABAD – Cabinet division on Saturday has recommended to hand over theissue of Result Transmission System (RTS) crash in election 2018 to newgovernment as no investigation committee has been formed so far.
Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) had sent a letter to the CabinetDivision, directing to constitute an inquiry committee comprising expertsfrom National Telecommunication and Information Technology Security Board(NTITSB) and Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
According to the terms of reference (TORs) of inquiry, the committee was tothoroughly analyse RTS, fix responsibility of its failure and also makesuggestions for future course of action.
