LONDON – Indian cricketer Virat Kohli’s wife and renowned Bollywood actressAnushka Sharma comes under fire from the Indian fans.
She faced criticism after her appearance in a picture shared on the Twitterof the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).
In the picture, Indian cricket team including captain Virat Kohli’sbetter-half Anushka Sharma, can be seen posing at the Indian HighCommission in London.
After the picture went viral, their fans were trolling the couple fortaking advantage of their status and popularity.
The fans were of the view that the couple took extra privilege. OnlyKohli’s wife attended the ceremony just because she was a Bollywood star,they asked.
In reply, BCCI has explained that no violation of the protocol wasattempted as all players were invited with family but only Anushka attendedthe event.
