*LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Senator Chaudhry Sarwar hasresponded over the news of becoming governor Punjab. *
*He has denied rumours that he is interested in becoming the next GovernorPunjab.*
The former Governor Punjab said that he has already been on the covetedpost and does not want to become the governor again.
“I have already been Governor Punjab and have to desire to become again. Inany case there will be no Governor House either,” he said, hinting that theluxurious official residence may be utilised for other purposes by theincoming PTI-led government.
Sarwar also denied the formation of an factions or groups within the party,and said that all were united under the leadership of chairman Imran Khan.
“There is no truth over rumours of a forward bloc in PTI. The party wantsto move forward with allies, but we have no issues in forming thegovernment in the Centre and Punjab,” he said.
He said that the PTI has a clear majority in Punjab and will form the nextgovernment, and they would accept any decision made by Imran Khan.
