LAHORE – Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to host annual cricket awards inKarachi on August 8.

Left-arm-batsman Fakhar Zaman has emerged favourite in categories of BestBatsman and Cricketer of the Year. Hassan Ali is likely to win award forBest Bowler of the Year.

However, there is stern competition for award of All-Rounder of the Year asShadab Khan and Fahim Ashraf has performed exceptionally well.

Chief Selector Inzamamul Haq’s nephew Imamul Haq is likely to be awardedwith Emerging Cricketer of the Year award.

Separate awards will be awarded on aforementioned categories in ODIs, T20Isand Test matches.
