LAHORE – A Shaheen Air International flight NL-892, which landed atGuanghzou airport earlier today, on Monday took off carrying Pakistani 214passengers from China’s Guangzhou airport and would reach Lahore late atnight 6pm.

Sources said that over 200 Pakistanis stranded at China’s Guangzhou airportare expected to finally return home tonight at 6pm. The stranded passengershave been issued boarding passes and have gotten clearance from immigrationofficials.

Some hour before, A Shaheen Air flight reached at Guangzhou airport tobring back stranded Pakistanis in China.

Earlier, about 324 passengers had to reach Pakistan through a Shaheen Airflight on July 29 but they were left stranded after the flight was delayeddue to dispute with the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA).

On Sunday, Shaheen Air International decided to send its own aircraft forthe rescue mission following reports that Pakistan International Airlines(PIA) was sending one of its airplanes to bring back the strandedcountrymen.
