ISLAMABAD: Pakistan is ready to play a positive and constructive role between Saudi Arabia and Iran.
PTI Chairman Imran Khan expressed these views during his meeting with Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Mehdi Hunar dost at his Bani Gala residence in Islamabad.
The PTI Chairman also desired to visit historic places in Iran.
He stated that Pakistan is desirous to deepen trade ties with all its Neighbours including Iran. Imran Khan said, economic uplift of Pakistan will be the top priority of his Party’s Government.
The Ambassador extended felicitations to Imran Khan on behalf of Iranian President over PTI’S win in General Elections.
The Iranian envoy said, Iran is ready to cooperate with Pakistan on Regional level to pursue development Agenda and strengthen trade relations.
He emphasized that Pakistan-Iran gas Pipeline project can prove as a milestone and his country is ready for constructive talks on the project.
The Iranian envoy also welcomed Pakistan’s recommendations for Regional Peace.
