ISLAMABAD – Caretaker Minister for Maritime Affairs and Foreign AfairsAbdullah Hussain Haroon said that Exxon Mobil has drilled up to 5,000metres of the Iranian border and is optimistic about a huge discovery ofoil, a local media outlet reported on Saturday.
Speaking at a meeting at the Federation of Pakistan Chambers of Commerceand Industry (FPCCI), Haroon highlighted the need to integrate Karachi portwith Port Qasim to enable both to supplement each other.
He further added that the government will set up a $10 billion generationcomplex with the company.
