*ISLAMABAD – The caretaker government has decided that all governmentemployees and pensioners will be paid before Eid.*

All government departments and institutions have been directed to complywith this and release the salaries and pensions by August 17.

Eid is expected to be on August 21 or 22.

The treasury department has sent a circular to the accountant general ofPakistan, accountant general of the military and the finance ministry’schief accountant officer in this regard.
