KABUL – *Two explosions have been reported in Afghanistan targeting thesecurity forces. *

*Blasts were reported in Kandahar city in Sunday night, wounding at leastsix policemen, officials said. *

One Afghan National Police (ANP) officer was wounded in the first IEDexplosion in Kandahar’s PD14. Local officials said the explosive device hadbeen placed in an electrical box.

A second IED was detonated when first responders rushed to the scene. Theexact casualty toll from the second explosion is not yet known, theprovincial governor’s spokesman said.

But, unconfirmed reports say that at least 6 police were wounded in thesecond blast.
