*KARACHI – Three bottles of alcohol were recovered from former Sindhminister Sharjeel Memon’s hospital room.*

*However PPP leader Nasir Hussain Shah on Saturday has come up withhilarious explanation over the recovery of the bottles.*

*He claimed the bottles didn’t contain liquor but honey and olive oil. *

Speaking to media, he offered that a medical check-up of Memon be conductedto ascertain this fact. He said they held Chief Justice of Pakistan MianSaqib Nisar in high esteem.

The PPP leader said the bottles recovered from the hospital’s kitchenshould also be sent for an examination.

He said Memon, who had undergone a surgery recently, needed dressing fortwo or three more weeks. He added the surgery was part of record andoffered an inquiry be carried out into the matter.

He lamented that the former minister’s driver and guard were arrestedwithout any plausible reason.

Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar on Saturday paid a surprisevisit to Memon’s room at the Ziauddin Hospital and said to have recoveredthree bottles of liquor from his room.

The chief justice arrived at the hospital in Clifton amid tight security onSaturday morning and went to the room where Memon was being treated aftervisiting different wards.

He reportedly stayed in his room for two to three minutes.
