ISLAMABAD- The Federal Minister for Finance, Revenue and Economic AffairsAsad Umar chaired a meeting here to review the working of the EconomicAffairs Division, today (Monday).
The Minister was given detailed briefing on various aspects of economiccooperation with various bilateral and multilateral development partners.
The briefing included financial progress of different foreign fundedprojects as well as certain aspects of potential projects to be included inthe pipeline in future.
The Minister was also briefed on the debt management function of EAD. TheMinister on the occasion stated that assessment of requirement of foreignassistance was an important function and EAD should regularly update itsassessment of various sectors in order to utilize the valuable resources inthe most productive manner.
