ISLAMABAD – Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) announced the ‘admissionsschedule’ of its merit-based programmes, offered in the current semesterAutumn, 2018.-
The last date for the admission is Sept 5. The programmes offered include:Ph.D, MS/M.Phil, COL (Commonwealth of Learning) MBA/MPA, M.Sc (Statistics),M.Sc (PublicNutrition) and BS Programmes, a press release said on Monday.
All those interested for admission in these programmes have been advised tosend their Application Form directly to the concerned department withoutadmission fee before the stipulated date.
Admission forms of these programmes could also be downloaded from theUniversity’s official website.
Test/interview for the admission would be held on 15 to 20 October whichwill be intimated by the concerned department. Merit-list would bedisplayed at the University’s website on 31st October, said DirectorAdmissions.
According to the directions of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. ShahidSiddiqui, all the departments will strictly follow the prescribed meritcriteria, in order to accommodate the talented and well-deserved students.
This is also aimed at ensuring quality education at the higher educationlevel. – APP
