ISLAMABAD – Former President Asif Ali Zardari and his sister Faryal Talpurhave been summoned by FIA for fourth time on Monday.

Asif Zardari and Faryal Talpur are under investigation in money launderingcase worth Rs 35 billion.

A notice has also been issued to both in this regard.

Islamabad High Court (IHC) on had approved protective bail of PakistanPeoples Party (PPP) co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari in money laundering case.

A session court in Karachi had declared Asif Ali Zardari and his sisterFaryal Talpur absconders in the case while Omni Group Chairman Anwar Majeedalong with his son Abdul Ghani were arrested from Supreme Court (SC).

Asif Ali Zardari, Faryal Talpur and their associates are accused of sendingRs35 billion abroad through fake accounts after which, their names wereplaced on Exit Control List (ECL).
