ISLAMABAD – Federal government has hinted at drastically reducing thediesel prices to give relief to the common man.
The price of diesel would be reduced by Rs17.
The petroleum minister Ghulam Sarwar has said that his strategy was to cutdown the price of diesel and bring it down to the price level of petrol.
Moreover, Sarwar added that natural gas and crude oil reserves had beenfound in Sanghar.
Minister Sarwar also explained that the new government aims to speed up thework on the Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India (TAPI) Pipeline whichis also known as the Trans-Afghanistan Pipeline.
The minister also announced that the agreements regarding the liquefiednatural gas (LNG) imports would also be made public.
