ISLAMABAD – Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and Prime MinisterImran Khan have finalised the names for the Punjab cabinet.
CM Punjab met PM Khan in Islamabad and discussed matters pertaining toformation of provincial cabinet.
During the meeting, the prime minister and the Punjab CM agreed to keep theprovincial cabinet short.
Sources told Dunya News that 15 ministers of Punjab would take oath in thenext two or three days.
Abdul Aleem Khan is being considered for the position of Minister for LocalGovernment and Community Development, Dr Yasmin Rashid is a strongcandidate for the post of Health Minister, while Sibtain Khan is likely tobe given Agriculture portfolio.
Mahmoodur Rasheed is being considered Punjab’s next Minister of Housing andCommunication and Works Department, while Raja Yasir is under considerationfor the position of Punjab Minister of Higher Education.
Raja Basharat is being measured for teh post of Provincial Minister forParliamentary Affairs.
