KARACHI – US Dollar rate in interbank market witnessed a slight surge onFriday.

US Dollar increased by 21 paisa as the dollar value reached Rs124.25.

Dollar is fluctuating between Rs122.25 and Rs124.25 in open market.

On Thursday, an increase was recorded in gold price in Pakistan that was Rs47,153 per 10 grams, and Rs 55,000 per tola.

However, the gold prices remained different in every city.

In the international market the gold price was US $1187 after an increaseof $2 per ounces.
