ISLAMABAD – Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz, who are serving jail term afterbeing found guilty in Avenfields apartment case are not allowed to continuetheir meetings scheduled today.
It was a meetings day for Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz and Capt (R) Safdar inAdiala Jail today. PML-N leaders were scheduled to meet with Nawaz Sharifand Maryam Nawaz in Adiala Jail today. However, according to jailauthorities, due to Eid holidays in jail their meeting is not possible.
According to jail authorities, their meeting is not being permitted due toEid holidays in jail. On Friday (tomorrow), the family and others will beallowed to meet. PML_Ns senior leaders have been informed about thischange, and are instructed to come to jail tomorrow, between 8 am-1 pm.
Yesterday, Shehbaz Sharif and other family members met former PrimeMinister Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz in Adiala jail.
Shehbaz Sharif, was accompanied by his mother, sons and other familymembers to meet father-daughter duo on the eve of Eid-ul-Azha. Earlier, IHCput off its judgement over the appeals to suspend the conviction of formerprime minister Nawaz Sharif, his daughter Maryam Nawaz and captain (retd)Safdar.
