ISLAMABAD – Federal Bureau of Revenue has clarified that it has not issuedany instructions regarding freezing of bank accounts held by non-filers ofincome tax returns.
In order to allay the misconception being caused by a segment of printmedia, the FBR clarified that Income Tax Law does not restrict bankingtransactions out of bank accounts held by any person whether filer ornon-filer.
