*LAHORE – National Accountability Bureau grills Pakistan MuslimLeague-Nawaz (PML-N) president Shehbaz Sharif for near about two hours.*

The former Punjab chief minister appeared before a three memberinvestigation team at the anti-graft watchdog’s office in Lahore where hewas questioned for over two hours.
Shehbaz was summoned for his alleged involvement in three graft casesincluding the Punjab Power Development Company (PPDC) case.
The anti-graft watchdog has been investigating president of Pakistan MuslimLeague Nawaz (PML-N) Shehbaz Sharif in connection with three corruptioncases, including Ashiana-i-Iqbal Housing Scheme, PPDC and Saaf Pani Project.
Mr Sharif was directed to appear before the NAB officials at 11:00 am inthe Ashiana-i-Iqbal Housing scheme scam and later at 2:00 pm again in thePPDC case.
So far, Shehbaz Sharif has appeared thrice before the anti-corruption bodyand recorded his statements. His son-in-law Imran Ali Yousaf is also facingNAB inquiries in the PPDC case.
NAB had also questioned Hamza Shahbaz in the PSPC case for his alleged rolein the award of certain contracts and making appointments in violation ofrules as he was not a member of the company’s board of directors.
