ISLAMABAD – Belarus Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov has been sacked overcorruption scandal.
President Alexander Lukashenko sacked him and other key members ofgovernment following a corruption scandal that saw top officials arrested.
Prime Minister Andrei Kobyakov will be replaced by former development bankhead Sergei Rumas.
The President’s press office said in a statement that authorities arresteddozens of top health officials, medics and drug company representatives onsuspicion of siphoning off millions of dollars in state funding.
