LAHORE – Newly elected Punjab Assembly has adopted the first resolutionregarding the blasphemous sketches.

Punjab Assembly on Sunday unanimously adopted a condemnatory resolution forblasphemous sketches in Holland.

The resolution was submitted by several members from both sides, includingAmmar Yasser, Musarrat Jamshed, Kanwal Parvez and Mian Shafi Muhammad.

Tabling the resolution in the House, MPA Ammar Yasser said that protectionof Aqeeda Khatim-e-Nabuwwat is the foremost responsibility for all of us asMuslims.

The House strongly condemned the Dutch government and demanded FederalGovernment to contact the Muslim Ummah on this issue.

During the session, the Punjab chief minister was also elected throughelection.
