ISLAMABAD – Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) on Saturday announced the‘admissions schedule’ of its merit-based programs offered in the currentsemester Autumn, 2018.
The programs offered on merit-based includes PhD, MS/M.Phil, COL(Commonwealth of Learning) MBA/MPA, M.Sc (Statistics), M.Sc (PublicNutrition) and BS Programs, a press release said.
All those interested for admission in these programs have been advised tosend their application form directly to the concerned department withoutadmission fee before the stipulated date. The last date for the admissionis Sept 5.
Admission forms of these programs could also be downloaded from theUniversity’s official website.
Test/interview for the admission would be held on 15 to 20 October whichwill be intimated by the concerned department. Merit list would bedisplayed at the University’s website on October 31.
According to the directions of the Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Shahid Siddiqui,all the departments will be strictly following the prescribed meritcriteria, in order to encourage the talented and well-deserved students.This is also aimed at ensuring quality education at the higher educationlevel.
