MOSCOW – Russia says the United States prefers to act solely in the Talibanreconciliation process and does not take into account the interests ofAfghanistan’s regional partners and neighbors.

In an interview with Turkish official news agency Anadolu, Russianpresidential envoy to Afghanistan, Zamir Kabulov said Moscow has been moreinclusive in the process by inviting Washington in collective efforts toresolve the Afghanistan issue.

He said from the events held under auspices of the United States, we do notsee even such small steps that would contribute to launch of intra-Afghanpeace process.

Kabulov said apparently, Americans participate only in such meetings, whichare held under their leadership and meet interests of the United States.
