LAHORE – Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar has said that KalabaghDam cannot be constructed immediately, however it would be done after theDiamer Bhasha Dam construction.
Addressing a gathering after visiting the shrine of Hazrat Baba Shah Jamalon Saturday, he said that the Kalanbagh project had not been left.
He said that the only solution to overcome water shortage is theconstruction of dams. “We will construct Kalabagh Dam after theconstructing of Diamer and Mohmand dams if the nation continued unity,” heresolved.

The CJP said that children are also donating to the Dams Fund. “The Armychief also donated over Rs one billion. We will be able to collectsufficient amount for the dam,” he said.
