*LAHORE – The Supreme Court has ordered the police to arrest and presentDIG Gilgit Baltistan Syed Junaid Arshad before it.*
Headed by Chief Justice of Pakistan Mian Saqib Nisar, a bench of the apexcourt gave this order on a petition filed by the senior cop’s former wifewho accused her spouse of posting her objectionable photos on the socialmedia.
The chief justice directed the authorities concerned to place the DIG’sname on the Exit Control List (ECL).
He remarked: “Does the police officer consider himself above law.” Thebench directed the police to ensure compliance of its orders and submit areport on Sunday (tomorrow).
