Chief Minister KP Mehmood Khan sets a new precedence in the history of Pakistan

*PESHAWAR – Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Mehmood Khan has set anew precedence in the history of Pakistan.*

*He has announced to admit his children to government-run schools in theprovince.*

Addressing a ceremony marking the start of *“Basta Uthao, School Aao”*campaign,the CM vowed to better the conditions and education standards ofgovernment-run schools in the province in line with PM Imran Khan’s visionand said that soon his children too will be admitted in government schools.

The “*Basta Uthao, School Aao”* campaign is aimed at promoting education byurging parents to admit their children to schools and targets 0.8millionchildren this year.

“We can proudly say that our province was well ahead of other provinces ineducation sector in past five years as Atif Khan (PTI leader former KPeducation minister) performed really well as education minister,” saidMehmood Khan.

He also urged the audience at Government Shaheed Hasnain Higher SecondarySchool to take his message to other people in the province so governmentcan ensure more and more young children join schools.

CM’s Adviser on Education Ziaullah Bangash also spoke on the occasion. TheCM also planted a tree in the school premises.
