India beats Pakistan in semifinals of South Asia Football Federation Championship

DHAKA – India defeated Pakistan 3-1 in the semi-final of the South AsianFootball Federation (SAFF) Championship at the Bangabandhu NationalStadium, Dhaka on Wednesday.

Muhammad Ali scored the lone score for Pakistan, while India’s ManveerSingh scored two goals – in 49th and 69th minute. Samit Passi added thethird goal seven minutes from time.

All four goals were scored in the second half of the match. Both teamsplayed with 10 players each during last 10 minutes of the game.
