ISLAMABAD – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Azizhas sent a message of felicitation to Dr Arif Alvi on assuming the officeof the President of Pakistan.

“I, on my behalf and on behalf of the government and people of SaudiArabia, congratulate you on becoming the President of Pakistan. We extendto you best wishes and desire further prosperity of the brotherly people ofPakistan,” King Salman said in his message.

King Salman appreciated the close brotherly relations between the twocountries and their people and said efforts were on to strengthen ties inall fields.

Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdul Aziz, also the deputy primeminister and defence minister, congratulated Dr Arif Alvi on assuming theoffice of the Head of State.
