LAHORE – Chief Minister Usman Buzdar has kicked off the 100 daysimplemention plan.
He unveiled the reforms and growth strategy for the first 100 days of thePakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in the province, ‘according tothe vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan.’
Presiding over the second session of the Punjab cabinet on Saturday, PunjabChief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar said poverty alleviation, promotion oftourism industry, agriculture reforms to increase production andagri-marketing capacity, livestock reforms, formulation of water policy,health and education reforms, women development, provision of cleandrinking water, construction of five million houses, environment policy andtree plantation have been included the 100-day agenda.
Buzdar said progress on the 100-day programme will be reviewed and alldepartments concerned would submit report to the Chief Minister Office onweekly basis. “Stakeholders of various sectors will be taken into theconfidence for finalisation of policy and recommendations,” he added.
The cabinet also approved constitutions of a steering committee on theimplementation of 100-day programme under senior Minister Aleem Khan. Themeeting that remained in session for over five hours decided that the CMand all ministers will donate their one-month salary to the PM Dam Fund.
