PESHAWAR – Pakistan is exporting pine nuts to over fifty countries earningtwenty five billion rupees annually.
This was told during the concluding session of a two-day NationalConference on Conservation of Forests in Naran, District Manshera today.
Participants of the conference were informed that pine nuts are produced inZhob area of Baluchistan and tribal districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The conference was arranged by Ministry of Climate Change in collaborationwith International Union for Conservation of Nature and it was attended byrepresentatives of all the four provinces, Azad Kashmir andGilgit-Baltistan.
