BEIJING – China has welcomed the joint participation of Pakistan and Indiain anti-terrorism exercise held in Russia under the Shanghai CooperationOrganization (SCO) framework.

Chinese foreign ministry’s spokesperson Hua Chunying said during a pressbriefing in Beijing that stability of India-Pakistan relations is of greatsignificance to regional peace and stability and even world peace anddevelopment.

The spokesperson said China sincerely hopes strengthening of bilateralcooperation between the two countries.
