ISLAMABAD – Federal government is spending five point five billion rupeeson improvement of electricity transmission system in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

A spokesman of PESCO told our Peshawar correspondent that work has beeninitiated on one hundred and fifty-one electricity projects in the provinceout of which fifty-five have been completed.

These projects include laying of new transmission lines, repair oftransformers and upgradation of different grid stations

Similarly, work on construction of two hundred and twenty KV grid stationsin Charsadda, Mansehra and Dera Ismail Khan is also in progress.
