WASHINGTON – U.S. President Donald Trump will chair a session of the UNSecurity Council later this month that will focus on Iran.

America’s UN envoy Nikki Haley told reporters in New York that US Presidentis calling a meeting to address Iran’s violations of international law andgeneral instability in the entire Middle East region.

Haley, who is chairing the council’s presidency for the month of Septemberhas pointed out Iran’s ballistic missile program, support for LebaneseHezbollah and the Syrian regime as well as Iran’s assistance to Yemen’sHouthi rebels.
