ISLAMABAD – Economic Coordination Committee of Cabinet has decided todisconnect electricity connections of consumers who fail to pay bills forthree months.
The decision was taken at a meeting of the Committee, chaired by FinanceMinister Asad Umar in Islamabad on Monday.
The meeting decided to install prepaid electricity meters.
It was also decided that an operational and financial audit of energysector will be conducted.
